Krauch, Carl

Born in 1887, chemist, joined BASF in 1912, in 1921 became assistant manager of Oppau plant, member of I.G. Farben managing board in 1934, head of the Research Department of the Office of German Raw Materials (Amt für Deutsche Roh- und Werkstoffe) under Göring in 1936, “military economy leader,” “GBChem,” chairman of supervisory board of I.G. Farben in 1940, defendant in I.G. Farben Trial at Nuremberg in 1947/48, sentenced to six years in prison, released in 1950, died in 1968.
